Player of the Week

PLAYER OF THE WEEK NUMBER....WHATEVER IS HERE!!!!!!!! Can you believe it's only been a week? I mean it's PoTW so I assume it's only been a week?? We've got an exciting one this time, so much so we decided to not limit ourselves to mere humans... nay, for this one we forayed into the wilderness and nabbed us a WOLF! But first, we must pay homage to our outgoing champion..... Mr. Kyle Klotz. Under his tutelage we launched PoTW 2.0 which increases champion luck 69% and also makes all champions now millionaires via a $20 GC dowry (don't check the math on that). Thank you Kyle for all you've done and continue to do <3. Enjoy your lifelong boon of luck and riches. And now, without further ado, our winner is...... WULFESS™! That's right, she's not only a wolf but a trademark!! How fancy. Looking closer though... is it really Wulfess or is it Valentine Wulfessina (based).... or New Year Wulf or Festive Wulf?? She does seem to have a bit of an identity crisis with her name, but there's one thing that never changes.... SHE. IS. WULF. And now she can add champion and PoTW of the prestigious ALG to her ever-growing list of aliases! Wow, that was just the intro and we're already 3 paragraphs deep, so allow me to get right to it and lore dump about our new champion Wulfess (imma drop the trademark for convenience, but never forget she is a fancy and deep wulf with a trademark!). Fact 1: She has a hubby who is nameless...No, he's not actually nameless, his name is literally "nameless", ok you know what moving on..WAIT. He's her hubby but not in our group??? I'll try to cry for only a few hours tonight :*( Fact 2: She loves wolves. I hope this isn't new information for you. Fact 3: She is a Valkyrie from the Milky Way galaxy, which is crazy because this entire guild is from the exact same galaxy! Fact 5? maybe...I wish I could count: She's a big anime and manga fan. I hope she's also in our sister group animrays if that's the case O.o. More importantly.....WHEN ANIME LIST WULFSSS?? We need to judge you. Fact 19: She is a very open person <3 HOWEVER she has very stringent rules about hours of operation and a strict protocol to comment before adding (german confirmed). Also Whatever you do, DO NOT UNFRIEND HER or she will fury swipe you with her wulfess paws! Fact AB: She enjoys multiplayer shooters and single player...everything, especially strategy games...I think! Okies! That's all our facts for now, cause what a list! Who'd have thought a wolf would have a longer resume than me, but here we are. Hit her up and give her praise (wolves love a good pet and snacks). Wulfess-- sorry, Wulfess(TM), we are honored to have you. We are under your care now. You are our den mother. Please look after us and enjoy the power and luck this station affords. As an outro here are some random wolf jokes from the internet I found :) What do you call a wolf who supplies the town with colorful fabrics? A Dyer Wolf. Which of the Little Rascals is a wolf's favorite?? Alf-Alpha. What do you call a wolf you can't find? A where-wolf. What do you call a wolf that knows it's a wolf? An aware-wolf. What is a wolf's favorite day of the week? Moonday. What do you call a wolf that knows everything about fashion? A wear-wolf.

you made it!!!!! And we're so happy to see you here!!! We've got an amazing new champion to kick off our new site, but first! A salute to our outgoing champion, Kazahanao. Our resident Kazzy has been holding down the fort since the deep winter of January...with not so much as a scrap of food! Your strength and commitment will never be forgotten. Enjoy your lifelong endorsement of luck and unlimited back scratches. The gods demanded a new face for this new era. And with such a bold new direction for ALG, only the boldest of members would do. It is written: Kyle Klotz is that man. This titan of transparency lists his full name, city and state in his steam profile, because that's just who he is. And when Kyle isn't flexing his raw confidence, he's blessing us with top-tier Mikus. These aren't just images he found online though, these are bonafide selfies from Miku herself. You see, Klotz was there...in the beginning. So deep is their connection, that If you listen closely to any Miku song, you'll often hear mention of a certain mountain peak, which she uses as they share the initials of her lover...K2 Kyle, we grant you all the blessings and powers associated with this role. We have had many champions before, but you lead the vanguard for ALG 2.0. May your luck be as loud and undeniable as you are, and may your goddess Miku watch over you. We are in a new world now, and with you at the helm of this website launch, there is no telling how far the guild will go. Wear the crown well, keep the art coming, and enjoy the ridiculous good luck that comes with being the first champion of the new kingdom. All hail Kyle! tl;dr new site, who dis. Kaza out Kyle in. Love you both <3

Hello all! Firstly, apologies for the delay. I have been remiss with my PoTW duties of late...But that is old news! We are baaack, and with a new player to immortalize! As always though, we will start with our outgoing champion, Shifen! Under Shifen's extra-lengthy tenure and tutelage we hit a new and major milestone: 5,000 members! This is an incredible win, and it belongs to all of us. I notice and appreciate all of you bringing your friends into our community. For a group that doesn't really do anything to continue growing is a testament to your efforts! Our relaxed ethos and laissez-faire approach continues to be a breath of fresh air to those coming from controlling and bureaucratic group environments. And I must reiterate, it is all of you that keep this amazing culture going. Thanks once more to everyone, and one last shoutout to Shifen! Enjoy your well-earned ride into the sunset!! To our main event! Our new champion and protector of our group is herein named...Kazahanao! Unlike our past champions, Kazahanao is someone I actually know a little bit about as we have been friends for a second, so I will share a couple fun facts! Firstly, she hails from somewhere in Europe. I won't say the exact country, but she is country-neighbors with our very own champion-alumn, Kaitri! She has recently moved to Canada though and plans on staying as she enjoys it more than her "European ex". She enjoys pokemon (light genwunner tendencies) and art. Speaking of which, she has quite a nice selection on her profile (check it out)! Last but not least, she has read at least half of Wikipedia and has made thousands of edits. Kazahanao, you are blessed and empowered with all the armaments and gifts granted our champion. Do your duty well, and as always, do it with luck. tl;dr 5k hit: thank you all, and congratulations! Shifen out, Kazahanao in (love you all <3)

We're back! After yet another glorious cycle in our eternal saga, we gather once more to release our reigning star from their celestial pedestal and invite the ascent of our next champion. Let us pay homage to our current champion. Rumi is not a man of many words, yet your reign was as brilliant as the 3I/ATLAS comet... which is coming straight at us... it's not slowing down... it's not stopping. Take shelt–Ok, we're back again. Well those that survived the comet are. Thanks Rumes. We salute you, our stoic saint, and we wish you many more grand adventures. And now the time has come!! Whole paradigms will shift as we crown our new champion. The gods have convened, virgins were sacrificed and their will has become clear!!! ***Note: this ritual was performed off-world on a planet where such a practice is legal, also they're the gods...they do what they want) Behold, the spectacular! The singular! Our very own Chilean Champion of ALG...Shifen!!!!!!!!! Native to the elongated stretch of land adjacent to the reigning World Cup champions and carried to us by magic llama messengers, the spectacular Shifen ascends as he accepts the title of guild champion. We welcome you to the throne, you S-tier Santiago Star, Shifen. May your luck be absurd and your reign be as vibrant as your profile showcases (he's got great art, give it a peep)!! All hail the stellar Shifen, newest hero of ALG. tl;dr: Shifen takes over for Rumes (kisses for both <3)

Happy December to all!! Well, It's that time once more...approximately one fortnight since last we convened, we sunset our current luminary, the Kingly Kaitri! We hope your time as our champion has been as special as you are, and we eagerly anticipate hearing your tales of victory again in the future!! And now, we nominate our next champion, to reign for no less than one lunar phase. The gods hereby call the remarkable...the regal...the ravishing...Rumi (don't ask me how long it took to find you for tagging as I forgor the symbol)!!!!!! Congratulations, new champion and hero of ALG! The guild's blessings shine upon you, and we wish you many great victories in your adventures. May your days be filled with fortune and your feats remembered in legend! Ra! Ra! Ra! For our Rumes! Tl;dr: Kai out, Rumi in (love you both <3)

After a long and beautiful ride, we're reallocating the Outstanding to regular status. Odes, We hope your time in the light was as radiant as you are. And now, once again, we must seek the one worthy. Post one very arduous quest, we've identified our champion! But...can we elevate this player? After all, our previous attempt ended in failure (they were not in the group yet). After consulting with the oracle however, we believe this time will be different! A few magic words, a couple of sacrifices, and one very herculean task of questionable legality later, and we've elevated our new champion!! Congratulations to the Knightly Kaitri (who is not in the chat so cannot be tagged :*( :*( :*(. Kaikai, enjoy this mantle of power as well as the extraordinary luck it shares. Yes, even you can finally have amazing luck on your side, something you've always wanted I know <3 tl;dr: Odes out, Kai in (love u both <3)
