It's here. You've all been asking (actually literally no one has, but you've maybe... possibly…been thinking about it... I have at least hehe) AND IT. IS. HERE. PLAYER OF THE WEEK 2.0. Or 3.0? Idk where we're at. Bottom line: PoTW just got a MASSIVE upgrade. I'll give you the punchline up front: PoTWs are now instant millionaires* *not actually millionaires. Going forward, all new PoTW champions will be awarded the spoils of their hard-fought battles in the form of: • A ~$20 USD equivalent Amazon GC (in your local currency) • A Steam profile award of your choice Sooo not actually millionaires, but hey, this is just the start and we only ever go up, so who knows what the future will bring :) Ok, specifics. First I'll lay out instructions, then disclaimers, then a mini bonus announcement that goes along with this. INSTRUCTIONS Upon being crowned PoTW, add Dyeace on Discord and remind him (he can be oblivious sometimes) that you won PoTW. He will send you a google form to complete. You'll need to provide your Steam username, Discord username, Steam profile URL, local Amazon URL (e.g., amazon.de, amazon.co.uk, amazon.ca) since gift cards are region-specific, your delivery preference, and your award preference. Upon completion (and in due time, I do get busy) he will send you your spoils. Congratulations! IMPORTANT SECURITY NOTE: I will NEVER reach out to you first asking for your details. YOU must initiate contact with ME. If anyone claiming to be "Dyeace" messages you asking for your information when you did not reach out first, DO NOT provide any details - it's not me! My Discord username is exactly "Dyeace" (same as my Steam name). Before sending any messages or information, VERIFY you have the correct account by checking that the Steam account linked in my Discord profile connections matches my actual Steam profile. Under NO circumstances should you provide your personal details anywhere other than the official Google Form sent directly from the verified Dyeace Discord account. Stay safe out there! NOW THE LESS-FUN DISCLAIMER NONSENSE I'll be blunt with this part: No PoTW now nor ever will be entitled to these nor any other winnings. Everything will be at my sole discretion and for however long I deem this useful. That out of the way, I do want our champions to receive their awards, so I will make best efforts to deliver you the goods, but please keep in mind that I am not tech support. I have never done this before, but I imagine there will be a minority of champions who are unable to receive their awards for any number of reasons such as: they don't have an Amazon account or Discord, their country is blocked from me sending the cards, Amazon screws up delivery, I am provided with an incomplete or wrong email, one or both of us are having some technical issue, or really any other issue that prevents completion. Additionally, I may end this program at any time if it's creating drama, not working out, maybe I just get too busy in life or I run out of money XD. Anything could come up. So please, when you win, provide me accurate details in a timely manner, but just know nothing in life is guaranteed–and the cult sadly is not immune from the whimsies of life (well, not yet anyway…) OK NOW FOR THE MINI BONUS... Remember how I said all PoTW champions going forward will get this? Well, I lied... Not only will all future champions get it, BUT SO WILL ALL PREVIOUS CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!! We wouldn't be here without all of our past champions–and we haven't forgotten that!! We are standing on the shoulders of giants and we will never forget what you've done. Keep being awesome <3 Q&A Q: What if I don't have an Amazon account and/or Discord, or it doesn't work in my country? A: To keep everything streamlined, efficient, and safe for everyone, we don't have any alternatives at this time. If Amazon or Discord just doesn't work for your situation, we are unfortunately out of luck on the gift card part. But hey, we will absolutely still hit you with that Steam profile award! Q: I'm worried about sharing sensitive details. What are my options? A: The most private option is choosing "Shareable Link" - I'll just DM you a redemption link, no personal info needed. You can also use a throwaway email (as long as you can access it). If you're not comfortable with Google Forms, you can send me the answers directly via Discord DM instead - just verify you have the correct Dyeace account first. Also note: I will NEVER ask you for any information beyond what's on the form! Q: What if I put down the wrong information on the form? A: Message me on Discord immediately. If I haven't looked at your form yet, I'll gladly fix it for you. But if I already sent out the rewards based on what you typed in, there is no way for me to fix it or get it back. Definitely double-check your info before hitting submit! Q: How long will it take to get my rewards after I submit? A: I'll get it to you as soon as I can. Sometimes life gets busy or I'm away from my PC. If it's been like a month and you still haven't heard anything from me, definitely prod me on Discord in case I completely blanked on it. Q: Why do I need to contact you on Discord instead of Steam? A: My Steam friends list is perpetually full and I'm a bit more active on Discord anyway. Discord is just the easier and faster way to reach me! Q: Can I win Player of the Week more than once? A: Since this is totally random and just whenever the mood strikes me, technically yes! But I'll definitely try to spread things out so more people get a turn to be a fake millionaire. Q: I'm a previous champion but I'm not active in ALG anymore. Can I still claim? A: Absolutely! Once a champion, always a champion. Whether you're still gaming with us daily or moved on to other things, your contributions to the cult are forever remembered. Come grab your rewards! Q: What Steam profile awards can I choose from? A: Any of the profile awards that can be gifted! The popular ones are usually things like "Helpful," "Beautiful," "Winner," etc. Just let me know which one you want and where you want it placed (profile, screenshot, artwork, review, etc). Q: I haven't received my awards yet. What do I do? A: It's your responsibility to reach out to Dyeace on Discord first and initiate the process. Make sure you've added me, reminded me you won, and completed the form I send you. If you've done all that and it's been a while, feel free to follow up - but I can't send awards if you haven't started the process!

After years of being the best Steam group on the platform, we're finally doing it. We're launching our very own official website to celebrate hitting 6,000 MEMBERS! That's right - six thousand of you beautiful degenerates have joined the cult, and we couldn't be more proud. This website is our new home base. A place where the cult can gather outside of Steam. Where we can recognize our Player of the Week legends, drop announcements, and just generally continue doing whatever we want - because that's what we've always done since 2013. We've been gaming together for over a decade. We've seen games come and go. We've watched members become legends. We've built something special here - a community with no rules, no drama, just pure gaming chaos. And now we have a website to prove it. To everyone who's been here from the beginning, to the new members just joining the cult, and to everyone in between - thank you. You're the reason we hit 6,000.
